NEKROGNOSIS--Wisdom for Life from the Angel of Death
There are many other names for this angel of angels, but perhaps there is no name quite so suitable as simply Death. This is the energy that separates the spirit from the body, the mortal from the immortal. Some of us are touched by Death in life. Some of us walk with Death in life. This is what Riverhead is all about.
As a concept, the Riverhead is that place through which flows the eternal river of life consciousness to be cleansed in between incarnations.
Nekrognostic practice as we know it is a far cry from necrophilia or any other abuse of the dead. As has been said, we learn from Death so that we might better understand Life.
We owe our origins and much of our wisdom to Leilah Wendell and the Westgate. However, Riverhead is its own entity and is not affiliated with any other organization.
Remember that Azrael is not to be worshipped, but rather to be respected and loved.
